The Meeting Place opShop: What is The Meeting Place opShop about? It came about in response to a desire to provide a welcoming community space for people.

The Meeting Place opShop

Together with the coffee shop it makes a relaxing environment for friends to meet and chat and has the added interest of the opShop to leisurely browse through.

All sorts of items can be found in the opShop as we never know what will be donated or left on our doorstep ! Affordable clothing for all ages and everything from bikes to 007 collectible cars can be discovered in the opShop.

From ordinary everyday things to those things that come with special memories attached to them. Having those memories shared with us, sometimes with tears and sometimes with smiles is a privilege much valued.

We are open on Friday and Saturday mornings from 9am. to 12 midday though we begin our days with a “Blessing Prayer” time at 8:30am. – 8:45am. that anyone is welcome to be a part of.

Donations of your “not needed” (but with lots of potential to bring a smile to someone else’s face !) items of clothing or other “surprise us” items are what keep the opShop happening and flourishing. Thank you to all who have given – keep up your much appreciated generosity.
